Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach will be releasing a new solo album, titled Kicking & Screaming, on September 27 via Frontiers Records.

The follow-up to 2007's Angel Down was produced by Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Atreyu, Filter). Handling guitar duties is young virtuoso Nick Sterling.

Of the new effort, Sebastian Bach said, "I could not be happier with my new album, Kicking & Screaming. The songs, performances and sound quality are beyond what I could have ever imagined. This is my best record yet, and I can't wait for all of you to crank it!"

The album cover will be created by artist Richard Villa. According to Sebastian, it will feature "the hottest model in the land, and reflect the lyrics as well as the brutality of the music. It's gonna be rock 'n' roll to the 9th degree -- very heavy, cool, trippy and nightmare-ish."

Even before Tom Cruise was set to star in the motion picture adaption of Rock of Ages, the Broadway musical has been generating serious buzz for its fun and often hilarious take on the rock music of the 1980s.

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen recently spoke to Attention Deficit Delirium's Bryan Reesman about the band's involvement in the play and the movie. When asked his thoughts on the play — which, of course, bears the name of his band's 1983 hit — Collen replied:

"I think the play is great, and I think we are going to be in the play. It went through the legal things, but they hadn’t got it sorted out in time [when] the play was going up, although it was the title of one of our songs. They didn’t get it ready in time, and with the movie it’s a whole different set of rules. They actually went through all the proper channels, and everything got sorted out. Payment got sorted out beforehand. I do believe they are going to revisit the play after the movie comes out. If it’s a success, they’ll add more stuff in it [the show], and we’re totally up for that. I’d even be up for actually being in the house band for awhile, which would be hilarious. I think it would be great fun."

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose seems to be in a forgiving mood after a fan came forward and returned $200,000 worth of jewelry she had "inadvertently" taken from the backstage area after a recent concert in Paris, France.

The singer took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the fan and the Paris police, referring to the fan as "just an excited fan."

"Got my things back (really just an excited fan)," he wrote. "Thank you to the person for returning them n' big thanks [to] the Paris police."

The fan in question, whose identity hasn't been revealed, told the police she drank too much and "inadvertently" put Rose's items in her handbag, realizing her faux pas when she woke up around lunchtime the day after the concert.
